Reciprocal Flights Started Between Turkey and Armenia

One of the important steps in the normalization process between Turkey and Armenia has been taken today. Flights that have not been made since 2020 have resumed today. The plane belonging to FlyOne airlines took off from Yerevan Zvartnots Airport at 18.00 local time and landed at Istanbul Airport at 19.20 Turkish time. There were 64 passengers on board.

As of today, within the scope of reciprocal flights, the same plane will depart from Istanbul Airport to Yerevan at 3:476 with the number of flights 30F20 and 40 passengers.

Pegasus Airlines flight PC550 will take off from Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 23:35 and will land in Yerevan at 02:35 local time after midnight. Return flight PC-551 will depart Yerevan at 06:50 and is scheduled to land at Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 07:55.

In the statement made by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation (SHGM), it was stated that as of February 2, direct flights between Turkey and Armenia were launched mutually, and the flights on the Istanbul-Yerevan route will be made three times a week by Pegasus and Fly One Airlines.
