Registration continues for the Merrell Alanya Ultra Trail 2022, a trail running race organized by Argeus Travel & Events with Ahmet Arslan, the "Lion of the Mountains", and included in the 2022 calendars of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Turkish Athletics Federation, under the name sponsorship of Merrell Turkey.
Athletes, who will experience all four seasons while running in the footsteps of the nomads in 2022, will once again be able to choose from four different race options. Hosting 2021 athletes from 24 countries in 544, the organization will ensure an ultra trail enthusiasm in Alanya on Saturday, April 2, 2022. The race diversity of Merrell Alanya Ultra Trail, which hosts athletes from many different countries and enables the tourism season to start early in Alanya, will be as follows:
- Merrell Alanya Ultra Trail (76 km)
- Taurus Mountain Marathon (48 km)
- Keykubat Moutain Run (28 km)
- Alaiye Short Trail (17 km)
Participants from new countries are also expected
Merrell Alanya Ultra Trail, which has been moved to a different dimension with the experience of Merrell, which sponsored Alanya Ultra Trail in its 40th anniversary and provided sponsorship support to world-famous races such as Skyrunner World Series, is expected to participate in the Merrell Alanya Ultra Trail in 2022 from new countries. The organization, which can only accept participation from certain countries due to travel restrictions between countries, will increase the country diversity of the participants in 2021. Also this year, Merrell's elite athletes will be in Alanya for the race.
