By providing all these, we can only reach our tourism potential to the level we want.” Stating that the works that local governments are not involved in do not have a chance to be successful, İmamoğlu gave examples of tourism-oriented works as IMM.

EMİTT

Emphasizing that Istanbul is Turkey's main locomotive, İmamoğlu said:

“We care about being a close stakeholder in the struggle of this process with the perspective of 'What can we do' in establishing the Istanbul Tourism Platform and in creating a consensus with all stakeholders and contributing to tourism; We continue to care. We care about the historical peninsula. Hopefully, we will share our 50 projects on the historical peninsula with the public in April. Turkey's main locomotive is Istanbul and it will always be this way. In this respect, especially to contribute to the problems and processes of Galataport; to strengthen the transportation processes related to the historical peninsula, to ensure that the villages of the Bosphorus and the Prince Islands become a more qualified tourism area; We continue to carry out works that contribute to all processes of Istanbul, such as the shores of the Golden Horn and the shores of Salacak, both within ourselves and with our stakeholders, in an integrated manner.”

When we undertake this work as a whole, when we raise this sector, which is perhaps the greatest treasure of our country, we see that perhaps our most serious resource in overcoming these difficult economic conditions will be tourism.
