Penalties were given to those who were found to be hunting with unauthorized and prohibited methods during helicopter-assisted inspections in Aydın.

The teams of the Provincial Gendarmerie Command Environment, Nature and Animal Protection Team and the Nature Conservation and National Parks Aydın Branch Directorate conducted air and land inspections in the hunting areas in Söke and Didim districts as part of the fight against poaching.

The people who were determined to be hunting in the Bafa and Azap lakes and the Söke Plain region were controlled by the officers in the field with the guidance of the helicopter team of the Gendarmerie Fleet Command.

The cars of the people whose hunting documents were questioned were also searched and it was checked whether the hunted animals were subject to the ban.

In places where land crews could not reach, the helicopter team landed on the land and checked documents.

Administrative fines were imposed on those who were found to be hunting with unauthorized and prohibited methods during the inspections, while devices that made bird sounds were confiscated.
