Deliveries at Toybelen Industrial Site Start in 2023

In Samsun, where Turkey's largest industrial site transformation will take place, Toybelen Industrial Site Project continues at full speed. 25% of the construction of the project has been completed. The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Mass Housing Administration (TOKİ) is starting the preparations for drawing lots. The workplaces, whose owners will be determined by lot, will be delivered to the tradesmen in 2023.

The Metropolitan Municipality carries out important works in every field in order to make Samsun a more modern and contemporary identity in urban planning. In the city, where urban transformation projects are rising rapidly, work continues intensively in Toybelen Industrial Site, where Gülsan Industrial Site will be transferred.

With the support of Murat Kurum, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Samsun Metropolitan Municipality, which brought Turkey's most modern industrial site with sea view to the city, also closely monitors the construction process. 700 percent of 1526 workplaces, of which 82 are industrial and 1608 commercial type, were completed on a 25-decare land, the foundations of which were laid last year. The industrial site will be delivered to the beneficiaries in 2023 and will be operational.

The excitement of the draw has started for the tradesmen who are entitled to become a business owner by making a 10 percent down payment during the application. TOKİ started preparations for the drawing of lots to be held this year. The date of the draw will be announced by TOKİ. Following the drawing of lots in the presence of a notary public, the workplaces will be handed over to their owners in 2023.

Stating that the Toybelen Industrial Site project continues as planned, Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir said that with the completion of the industrial site, they will remove the biggest obstacle in front of the city. President Demir said, “Currently, the construction works are continuing. We visit frequently and follow the developments. We are bringing Samsun to the most modern industrial site of our region, and Gülsan to a planned industrial site with perfect infrastructure. The new industrial site will be a modern, orderly, clean and green place. It is a wonderful investment that they can leave a legacy to their children and even grandchildren. I would like to thank our President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and our Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Murat Kurum for their contribution and support.

Stating that the countdown has begun in the drawing of lots so that the shops in the new industrial site can find their owners, Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir said, “The drawing of lots will be made by TOKİ. According to the information we received, the preparations are starting. TOKİ will announce the date when the preparations for the lottery are completed. Our shopkeepers will also determine their shops by drawing lots. In 2023, the historical transformation process will begin with the transfer of our tradesmen to their new places. After the move, we will expropriate and demolish the industrial site. In this way, the problem of Gülsan Industrial Site, which has been talked about and sought for a solution for many years in our city, will also disappear. We will turn it into a place where our people can breathe and have a good time, with a large recreation project integrating with Doğupark, where there will be a large Selatin Mosque and many cultural elements.
