The Letter of Intent on the Start of Defense Industry Cooperation (SSI) Meetings between Turkey and the United Arab Emirates was signed during President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's visit to the UAE. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan signed 13 agreements between Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.

SSI Agreements include the direct supply, development, production, sale of all kinds of defense industry products and services needed by the security organizations of the parties, maintenance / maintenance / modernization of systems and platforms in the inventory, technology transfer, training, information and document exchange.

The "Defence Industry Cooperation Meetings" to be held at regular intervals and the official and technical delegation visits that ensure the maturation and follow-up of the cooperation issues determined in these meetings will also be carried out within the scope of this agreement.
