The lands suddenly changed hands. Information that should have been public was hidden. Are some politicians and companies privileged? They distort the silhouette of Istanbul with vertical constructions, and Kanal Istanbul turned into vertical architecture. While not a single nail has been nailed on the controversial Kanal Istanbul, it has become clear once again that the reason for the haste in the housing projects started by the government in the region is to provide a huge profit gain through building projects rather than constructing a new waterway.”
