TEMSA aims to speed up electric vehicle transformations. kazanintroduced its electric bus MD9 electriCITY in Spain. Within the scope of the demo program organized under the leadership of ALSA, Spain's largest operator company, the vehicle, which will serve for a month on the lines in the city of Murcia, received full marks from the users and passengers in its first test drives. In the region, where electric transformation projects are accelerated with the goal of zero emissions, it is aimed to increase the fleet of electric vehicles in 2022.
TEMSA, which started its electric vehicle attack in the European market, continues to lead the transformation of intercity transportation. Recently, TEMSA introduced the MD9 electriCITY model electric bus in Murcia, Spain, and delivered the vehicle to the line of ALSA, Spain's largest operator company, for a long time. Demo rides, which were held with the participation of the Mayor of Murcia, the Head of the Department of Transport and the Director of Mobility Systems, received full marks from the major operators participating in the program.
SPAIN IS ON THE ATTACK OF THE ELECTRICAL CONVERSION
While Europe is experiencing a rapid transformation in electric vehicles, Spain also announced a billion-dollar investment package for electric car production last year. The city, which accelerated its investments in electric busses within the scope of the large electricity transformation projects planned in the near future, by leading environmental transformations, used its priority in favor of TEMSA. MD9 electriCITY, which is aimed to make significant contributions to environmental friendly transportation in the demo program, which was initiated to create a pilot experience that will encourage zero-emission intercity transportation, will serve on the new Alcantarilla-Murcia line where 14 thousand people are active for one month.
ATTRACTED ATTENTION WITH ITS QUIET AND COMFORTABLE DRIVING EXPERIENCE
The MD9 electriCITY, which successfully passed the test drives in the region, was one of the most popular features as a result of the feedback, and its silent driving attracted attention. In the demo program, in which subjects such as the wide viewing angle of the driver's area and the usefulness of the seating plan, the general design and performance of the vehicle, driving comfort, range values, safety, long charging usage and cost advantages can be presented, was highly appreciated.
The vehicle, which offers an accessible and safe transportation solution with its equipment complying with European Union norms and passenger information equipment integrated into the transportation system, also enables the vehicle to make maximum use of its battery capacity by generating electricity during the journey, with its programmable regeneration feature. The vehicle, which can carry up to 30+2 people with its high passenger capacity and has 3 different charging options, can be charged in 2 hours. The 9-meter-long environmentally friendly bus with zero carbon emissions also bears the traces of silent, comfortable, high-performance state-of-the-art technology.
OUR DEMO PROGRAMS WILL BE EXTENDED TO ALL EUROPE
Making a statement on the subject, TEMSA Deputy General Manager of Sales Hakan Koralp said, “We are rapidly continuing the electric vehicle mobilization that we started in Europe and neighboring countries last year. Within the framework of the 'Smart cities' vision, which is the main agenda item after the Green Agreement, the transformation in the coming period will accelerate even more. kazanit's possible to tell. At this point, we, as TEMSA, are very happy to have pioneered this. On the other hand, it is a great honor for us to play a pilot role in the transformation of the public transport of Spain, Europe's second largest automotive manufacturer. Our test drives at various points are very important in terms of providing a one-to-one experience to the users and evaluating the feedback instantly. Therefore, we will accelerate this even more in 2022. Our programs will soon expand to all European countries,” he said.
