Spring Festival Traffic Starts In China As Of Today

Spring Festival traffic in China has started as of today. According to the statement made by China's transportation unit, this year's holiday traffic will decrease somewhat compared to before the epidemic, but will increase greatly compared to last year. During this year's holiday traffic, the total number of trips is expected to increase by 35,6 percent compared to last year, reaching 1 billion 180 million.

The 40-day holiday traffic will end on February 25. Spring Festival, China's most important traditional holiday, will be celebrated on January 31 this year and the holiday will last for 7 days. As every year, the holiday traffic will be heavy as many Chinese return to their hometown or go on a trip during the holiday.
