In his statement regarding the payments within the scope of social assistance models with the new regulation in the civil servant salary coefficient in January, Minister Yanık stated that the disabled and elderly pensions, home care assistance and SED payments for children will be deposited into the accounts of the beneficiaries with the increase.

Pointing out that the amounts of elderly and disabled pensions have been increased, Minister Yanık said that the pension of the elderly from 828 TL to 1.084 TL, the pension of 40-69 percent disabled from 661 TL to 865 TL, and the pension of citizens with a disability report of 70% or more is 991 TL. shared the information that it increased from 1.298 TL to XNUMX TL.

Noting that the pension for the disabled relatives under the age of 18 increased from 661 TL to 865 TL, Minister Yanık announced that the pension of patients with severe silicosis increased from 1.819 TL to 2.382 TL.

Home Care Assistance Increased to 2.354 TL

Underlining that an average of 535 thousand disabled citizens are provided with home care assistance per month, Minister Yanık noted that home care assistance has been increased from 2022 TL to 1.798 TL for the January-July period of 2.354.

Social Economic Support payments increased

Emphasizing that they are based on the principle of supporting children primarily with their families, Minister Yanık noted that families in need are provided with Social and Economic Support (SED) services for their children.

In this context, Minister Yanık said, “The amount of economic support per child in the SED service increased from 1.259 TL to 1.649 TL on average. In addition, the monthly average of payments made to foster families per child was increased from 1.964 TL to 2.572 TL.

We Aim To Become Stronger Integrated Into Social Life

Emphasizing that low-income individuals and families are supported in line with the needs of the implemented social service models, Minister Yanık noted that disadvantaged individuals are supported by various service and social assistance models, and said:

“We are increasing the monthly payments of our social assistance programs. The old-age pension within the scope of social service models is 1.084 TL, the disability pension between 40-69% and the pension of disabled relatives is 865 TL, the disability pension of 70% and above is 1.298 TL, home care assistance is 2.354 TL, Social Economic Support ( SED) payments also increased to 1.649 TL.”

Stating that they bring together individuals and families who are economically supported and able to work with projects for production and employment, Minister Yanık said, “We aim to integrate our low-income citizens into economic and social life more strongly with these projects.” said.
