The teams prepared for a possible avalanche disaster by examining on-site studies such as examining the preparation stages against adverse events that may be caused by snowfall in Denizli Ski Center, determining the avalanche risk points, observing the works to be done during and after the avalanche disaster, and determining and developing the rescue levels in the snow by the search and rescue teams. updated emergency action plans.
All possibilities are considered
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department Head Murat Başlı noted that as the Metropolitan Municipality, they prepared a disaster action plan considering all possibilities. Başlı said, “We carried out reconnaissance studies together with Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Fire Brigade teams, AFAD and JAK teams against the possibility of an avalanche in Denizli Ski Center. Here, we will take examples in the form of snow drilling, and then we will update our emergency action plans again with the land survey. We don't want it to happen, but if it does, our teams will respond as quickly as possible to our citizens who are stuck here or who are exposed to disasters," he said.
