Students staying in the dormitories area of Kocaeli University by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, Prof. Dr. The pedestrian overpass, which was built to facilitate access to the stops on Baki Komsuoğlu Boulevard, was put into service. The street with heavy traffic was not safe for students to access the stops. Thereupon, the Metropolitan Municipality took action and started the construction of a modern steel pedestrian overpass for students. The pedestrian overpass, which was completed quickly, was put into service of students and citizens.
KOCAELİSPOR COLORS ARE USED ON THE FLOOR
Within the scope of the work in Kabaoğlu District, the steel pedestrian overpass, which will provide safe and easy passage, was built 38 meters long and 3 meters wide. Elevators were placed on both sides of the overpass, considering our elderly and disabled citizens. The floor of the main platform walking section of the pedestrian overpass was painted in Kocaelispor's Green-Black colors. The stair tread coverings of the overpass are made of non-slip tartan track.
CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
Within the scope of the work, 150 cubic meters of concrete, 16 tons of iron and 75 tons of steel were used on the overpass. At the end of these studies, the students staying in Kocaeli University dormitories area, Prof. Dr. Access to the stops on Baki Komsuoğlu Boulevard has been made safe and offered to citizens. Local residents and students expressed their satisfaction with the work.
