Citizens showed great interest in the high-speed train, which was inaugurated by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. After President Erdogan said that the first one-week Karaman-Konya trip would be free, citizens competed with each other to buy tickets on the high-speed train and consumed the tickets in a short time.
The train, which has 2 flights from Karaman to Ankara and one to Istanbul, goes to Konya fully loaded. In the first 2 days on the High Speed Train, 5 thousand 300 passengers went from Karaman to Konya. Passengers arriving directly from Istanbul to Karaman by High Speed Train said that the journey was very comfortable and thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for bringing this service. Stating that the passenger density is quite high, the authorities asked the passengers who will travel by high-speed train to arrive at the train station half an hour before they pass the checkpoint.
