Soner Ilık, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kırklareli Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KTSO), attended the meeting held in Bulgaria, where the subjects of “Increasing Overseas Rail Freight” and “Opening Dereköy Customs to TIR Traffic” were discussed.
Soner Ilık, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kırklareli Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated that positive talks were held for both sides at the meeting held in Bulgaria; “In the meeting, which is of great importance for our country and our province, where our Ministry of Trade and the valuable managers of the Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD) attended, we agreed that increasing the International Railroad Transportation will make a great contribution to the increase of our country's exports.
At the meeting held, we had meetings with the authorities of the relevant institutions of the Bulgarian side about opening the Dereköy Customs, which is closely related to our province, to TIR Traffic. We will continue our efforts to conclude the positive talks as soon as possible.”
At the meeting held; Ministry of Commerce International Trade in Services (UHT) General Manager Dr. Emre Orhan Öztelli, Deputy General Manager of Support Services, Liquidation and Revolving Funds Oğuzhan Şatıroğlu, Deputy Head of UHT Department Dr. Yusuf Karakaş, Deputy Head of UHT Department Onur Çokol, UHT Trade Expert Nuh Üstün, Thrace Customs and Foreign Trade Regional Manager Nihat Kınık, TCDD Transportation Istanbul Regional Manager Veysi Alçınsu, TCDD Istanbul Regional Manager Bilal Yiğit and Thrace Customs and Foreign Trade Regional Directorate Feride Çağdaş took part.
