Hasan Çakırmelikoğlu, Chairman of Giresun Chamber of Commerce and Industry, announced that they expect the good news of Samsun-Sarp Railway Project from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's visit to Giresun.
Pointing out that Giresun needs mega projects in transportation and manufacturing industry infrastructure, Chairman Çakırmelikoğlu said; “We believe that it will be strategic for our province, region and country to take the decision for the 10rd and 3th OIZ investment decisions in Giresun, especially the Giresun Southern Ring Road Project, which we have been fighting for more than 4 years, and the Samsun-Sarp Railway Project. In particular, we foresee that Giresun Southern Ring Road Project will not only benefit the transportation and economic development of Giresun, but will also be beneficial for raising the international road network standard of our country. In this direction, an investment decision is required for Giresun Southern Ring Road, which is stated to have completed the project tender. In this context, we expect good news from President Erdoğan, who will visit our city on Saturday, January 29, 2022.” said.
