Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç said that Kayseri Erciyes Ski Center, a world brand, hosted 85 local and foreign visitors only on weekends, and said, “Erciyes was flooded by ski lovers at the weekend. Erciyes' profit continues to be Kayseri's profit.”
President Büyükkılıç, in Erciyes, which has the title of the first mountain of the Central Anatolia Region and the fifth largest mountain of Turkey, was appointed by Kayseri Erciyes A.Ş. He stated that 85 visitors came to the Erciyes Ski Center, which is managed by the company, at the weekend.
In his statement on the subject, Büyükkılıç said, “Erciyes Ski Center was almost overflowing with the intense interest of ski lovers this weekend. They come to Erciyes to ski on charter flights from Ukraine, Russia and Poland, as well as by scheduled flights from different countries in Latin America and Europe. In addition, the people of Kayseri, who took advantage of the semester break and the weekend of the schools, flocked to Erciyes Ski Center. We hosted 85 visitors in Erciyes this weekend alone. Our guests had a pleasant time with plenty of activities such as skiing, sledding, snowboarding, and cable car.”
Reminding that skiing attracts great attention in Erciyes Ski Center during the day as well as at night, Mayor Büyükkılıç said, “Night skiing, which is made in the most famous ski resorts of the world, offers holidaymakers a skiing experience during the semester break on the specially illuminated track in Erciyes. President Büyükkılıç emphasized that Erciyes Ski Center, which has the "Safe Ski Center" certificate for the first time in the world with the certificate given by the world's largest certification body Bureau Veritas, has been flooded by local and foreign tourists this year, and said that the pearl of Turkey, Kayseri He added that the profit of Erciyes, which is a symbol of attraction, 19 mechanical facilities in the field of mountaineering and winter sports, and 112 ski slopes of 41 kilometers, will continue to be the profit of Kayseri.
