Bağcılar Municipality offers course support to trainees who prepare for the Disabled Public Personnel Selection Examination (EKPSS) in order to be successful. In Feyzullah Kıyıklık Palace for the Disabled, 178 people are trained by experts in special classes created considering their physical and mental conditions.

EKPSS (Disabled Public Personnel Selection Exam) will be held on April 24, 2022 this year. The application process, which will start on January 27, will continue until February 15, 2022. Bagcilar Municipality, which has made many innovations to facilitate the lives of disabled people, also provides training support for the disabled who are prepared for EKPSS. In this context, a free EKPSS preparation course was opened at Feyzullah Kıyıklık Palace for the Disabled.

Private classes opened

Disabled civil servant candidates who will take the exam at high school, associate degree and undergraduate level attend the courses. Special classes were created for the visually, orthopedic and intellectual disability groups who applied. Disabled individuals, whose number is currently 178, take courses on the subjects to be asked in the exam, especially Turkish, Mathematics, Geography and History, from expert trainers between 09.00 and 16.00 on weekends. Counseling and guidance services are also provided to the trainees by the teachers outside of the classroom. On the other hand, the transportation of visually and orthopedically impaired trainees is provided by shuttle vehicles.

Turkey was the fourth

Bagcilar Mayor Lokman Çağırıcı, who said that disabled people, who are civil servant candidates, are with them in this difficult process, said, “Our aim is to ensure that disabled people achieve their dreams with the best scores. I believe that the support we provide here is very beneficial for them. One of our brothers, who took the exam with the education he received from our course in 2020, got 99.96 points and became the fourth in Turkey. Hopefully, our brothers and sisters who are preparing for the exam will also be successful.”

The training will continue until the exam date.
