Büyükkılıç announced that the 112th mechanical facility was built in Erciyes, which is a center of attraction with 41 ski slopes of 19 kilometers, and 210 different hotels with investment costs of 4 million TL have started to serve in the new season.
Erciyes Ski Center, which has the "Safe Ski Center" certificate for the first time in the world with the certificate given by the world's largest certification body Bureau Veritas, is flooded by local and foreign tourists this year as well.
150 THOUSAND LOCAL AND FOREIGN VISITORS CAME
Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, in his statement on the subject, said that Erciyes A.Ş., the first mountain management company established by local governments in Turkey. He said that there is great interest in the Erciyes Ski Center, which is managed by the company, within the scope of winter tourism. Stating that Erciyes A.Ş. is known as the number one in Turkey with its mountain tourism experience, Büyükkılıç said that during the winter season that started on December 18, 25 thousand domestic and foreign tourists visited Erciyes Ski Center in 150 days.

Emphasizing that foreign tourists come to Erciyes to ski with charter flights from Ukraine, Russia and Poland, as well as from different countries of Latin America and Europe, President Büyükkılıç said, “Erciyes, which is the symbol of Kayseri with its peak that pierces the clouds, The mountain is known as the highest peak of Central Anatolia. We will continue to promote our city, which is a center of attraction in tourism, culture, art, industry and trade, to the whole world, especially our pearl of Kayseri, Erciyes, and to continue our work day and night. Our Kayseri will continue to take firm steps towards becoming a center in Turkey's winter and mountain tourism, and Erciyes' profit will continue to be Kayseri's profit.”
NEW HOTELS, NEW MECHANICAL FACILITIES INSTALLED
President Büyükkılıç stated that the 112th mechanical facility was built in Erciyes, which is the pearl of Turkey, the symbol of Kayseri, and a center of attraction with 41 ski tracks of 19 kilometers in the field of mountaineering and winter sports, and that 210 different hotels with investment costs of 4 million TL were put into practice. He stated that he started to serve in the new season.
ERCIYES WILL BE THE CENTER OF SPORTS FOR 12 MONTHS
Reminding that the 'High Altitude Camp Center' was established in Erciyes, the city's tourism locomotive in the field of sports and tourism, Büyükkılıç said:
“The High Altitude Camping Center will allow the world's leading sports clubs to camp in Kayseri. Within the scope of the Erciyes Master Plan, 12 football fields at FIFA standards serve at the Erciyes High Camp Altitude Center, which has been designed to enable Erciyes to be evaluated actively for 2 months. We have also laid the foundation of an olympic swimming pool, indoor sports hall, six football fields, gymnasium facilities and fitness center at Erciyes High Altitude Camp Center, and the work continues at full speed.”
THE FIRST SKI CENTER TO RECEIVE ERCIYES ISO STANDARDS
Reminding that Cappadocia, the tourism region right next to Erciyes, is a whole in terms of tourism with 8 different neighboring cities, Büyükkılıç said that Erciyes Ski Center has ISO 9001, ISO 10002 and IQNET certificates and Service Quality Standards in Turkey, Customer He reminded that it is the first and only winter sports center with the Satisfaction Management System and International Recognition Certificates. President Büyükkılıç added that although there are very large and famous ski resorts in countries such as Austria, Switzerland and France, they are proud of being the first ski resort in the world to meet ISO standards in Erciyes.
