Digital Map and HTAWS system ATLAS was developed by ASELSAN for the T-70 Black Hawk and T-625 Gökbey utility helicopters. ATLAS has a flexible and compact design that is compatible with DO 257A and can be easily integrated into different platforms and hardware. Currently, the integration of the ATLAS system into fixed and rotary wing platforms continues. Hürkuş aircraft, T-70 and T-625 utility helicopters are among these platforms.

ASELSAN ATLAS aims to increase the situational awareness of pilots with more than 100 layer demonstrations and its capabilities. With these capabilities, ATLAS can support both 2D and 3D views. Compared to other HTAWS (Helicopter Terrain Awareness and Warning System) solutions, ATLAS can also integrate with the DO-309 compatible HTAWS system, which has the highest update time using the highest data resolution. HTAWS can generate terrain alerts using DTED-2 resolution elevation data with a 20 Hz update time. ATLAS contains unique algorithms that easily adapt to the rotations of the platform with this high update time.

Gendarmerie Receives GÖKBEY's

TUSAŞ General Manager Prof. Dr. Temel Kotil had announced that they would deliver the first GÖKBEY helicopter to the Gendarmerie General Command towards the end of 2022 regarding the ongoing activities for the GÖKBEY helicopter. Kotil stated that in the process following the deliveries to the Gendarmerie, deliveries can be made to the Air Force Command and to foreign customers.

T625 GÖKBEY General Purpose Helicopter

Within the scope of the GÖKBEY Utility Helicopter Program, cockpit equipment, automatic flight control computer, status monitoring computer, mission and flight management software for nationally developed military and civil light class prototype helicopters have been developed by ASELSAN in accordance with civil certification and are integrated into helicopters. In this context, equipment deliveries for civil helicopters have been completed. Certification flights of the GÖKBEY civilian configuration helicopter continue. It can be used in many missions such as helicopter, VIP, Cargo, Air Ambulance, Search and Rescue, Offshore Transport.

T-70 Black Hawk

Under the leadership of the Presidency of Defense Industries and the main contractor of TAI, the T-70 Utility Helicopter Program will meet the needs of six users, namely the Land Forces Command, the Air Force Command, the Gendarmerie General Command, the Special Forces Command, the General Directorate of Security and the General Directorate of Forestry. Along with the IMAS (Integrated Modular Avionics System) avionics suite, the development, production and integration activities of navigation, communication and electronic warfare systems to be used in helicopters are also carried out by ASELSAN.

In this context, the hardware, software and system level verification studies of the newly developed IMAS avionics suite have been completed. Following the IMAS test preparation review meeting, which is an important stage under the responsibility of ASELSAN, the integration of the IMAS avionics suite to the prototype S-70i helicopter located at the ASELSAN Akyurt campus was completed.

Within the scope of the project, Sikorsky company's S-70i model helicopter will be produced in Turkey with a production model under license, and the production license will also meet Turkey's future needs. When the ASELSAN Mission Management System (IMAS), the software and hardware of which has been completely developed by ASELSAN, is integrated into the existing flight and mission management system of the S-70i Black Hawk helicopter, the helicopter in its final configuration will be referred to as the T-70 Black Hawk.
