Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues the construction works of the "Local Tourism District Bus Station" at full speed in order to gather the district buses in one center and to facilitate the transportation of the citizens. With the completion of the district bus station, which was built on Fatih Sultan Mehmet Boulevard in Gazi District, in 2022, it is aimed to reduce the traffic density in the city center.
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality accelerated the construction works of the "Local Tourism District Bus Station" in order to gather the buses that provide transportation to the districts in a single center, to facilitate the transportation of the citizens and to reduce the traffic density in the city center.
The district bus station, which was tendered by the Department of Urban Aesthetics in September 2021 and started to be built on Gazi Mahallesi Fatih Sultan Mehmet Boulevard, is expected to be completed in 2022.
MODERN AND COMFORTABLE TRANSPORT PERIOD
Taking action in line with the demands from the citizens, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality pressed the button for the construction of the new district bus station.
The Department of Urban Aesthetics, which prepared a project on the fact that the buses serving in the surrounding districts cause traffic density by loading and unloading on the streets and streets in various parts of the city, will offer the new district bus station with its modern design to the service of the citizens of the Capital.
The new district bus station with a capacity of 80 vehicles, which will enable both transportation tradesmen and citizens who will travel to the districts to travel more comfortably from a single center, will also have many comforts, from rest rooms to baby care rooms, from cafeteria to kitchen, on a total area of 11 thousand 36 square meters.
