With its animal-friendly practices, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues to support stray animals who have difficulty finding food on cold winter days. ANFA Security teams also started to support the feeding activities carried out by the Department of Health Affairs teams throughout the city. ANFA Security personnel deliver the food provided by the Department of Health Affairs every week in the recreation areas and parks of the Metropolitan Municipality to dear friends.

Not forgetting the stray animals that have difficulty in finding food throughout the city due to harsh winter conditions and heavy snowfall, the Metropolitan Municipality teams increased their feeding efforts in all districts.
In addition to the teams of the Department of Health Affairs, ANFA Security personnel, who support feeding activities, also deliver food to 'dear friends'.
ANFA SECURITY TEAMS DISTRIBUTE 200KG OF FOOD EVERY WEEK
The Metropolitan Municipality, which is with the stray animals in Ankara during the winter months, aims to reach more stray animals by increasing the number of teams.
In this context, ANFA Security teams also participate in feeding activities intensively in the recreation areas and parks of the Metropolitan Municipality in order to support the teams of the Health Affairs Department.
ANFA Safety Coordinator İsmail Saymaz stated that they deliver 200 kg of food weekly from the Department of Health Affairs to stray animals living in nature, and shared the following information:
“In line with the request of our Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, Mr. Mansur Yavaş, we regularly feed our dear friends who have difficulty in finding food in bad weather conditions and worsening seasonal conditions with our 3 thousand 716 personnel working in the centers and districts of ANFA Security General Directorate. Our staff will continue to feed stray animals at certain periods so that our stray friends are not affected by the cold.”
