Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues its support to sports and athletes in the Capital. In cooperation with the Turkish Modern Pentathlon Federation, the “National Ranking-22, National Team Selection and Performance Tracking Race in the Modern Pentathlon” will be held in swimming, fencing, running and shooting branches, hosted by the Metropolitan Municipality on January 23 and 2022, 1.
Continuing to undertake projects that encourage sports and support athletes in the capital city, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality will also host the “National Ranking-22, National Team Selection and Performance Tracking Race in the Modern Pentathlon” to be held on January 23 and 2022, 1.
The competitions, which will be organized by the Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Services Department and the Women and Family Services Department in cooperation with the Turkish Modern Pentathlon Federation, will last for two days.
ATHLETES CANDIDATES TO THE NATIONAL TEAM WILL BE ELECTED
In the competition to be held in U19, junior and senior categories; Athletes who will compete in the Modern Pentathlon branch, which consists of swimming, fencing, running and shooting stages, will compete to be candidates for the national team.
For the swimming branch, the athletes are at the Eryaman Turkey Olympic Preparation Center (TOHM); In fencing, running and shooting branches, the athletes will perform at the Sincan Family Life Center. A ceremony will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2022 for licensed athletes who are eligible to be candidates for the national team.
