Meeting with members of the press on January 10, Working Journalists' Day, Manisa Governor Yaşar Karadeniz answered the question about whether to build a cable car to Spil Mountain.
Manisa Governor Yaşar Karadeniz, who met with the journalists, stated that there is no active ropeway project on Spil Mountain and added that "We need to have a reason to build a ropeway to Spil" and added that efforts should be made to increase the interest in Spil.
Karadeniz said, “There is something to see on Spil Mountain. Something not found anywhere else in Turkey. People take the cable car to see it. The cable car also has a cost. It will be 50 liras, maybe 75 liras per person. You have to have a reason to give that money.” said.
