Derya Yanık, Minister of Family and Social Services, announced that they have started to deposit the old-age pension and disability pension for January.
Minister Derya Yanık made statements about the monthly pensions of the elderly and the pensions of the disabled for the month of January.
Noting that they will provide elderly pension assistance of approximately 640 million TL in January, Minister Derya Yanık stated that they will pay approximately 495 million TL of disability pension within the payment period.
Underlining that they will make a payment exceeding 1 billion 135 million TL within the scope of the elderly and disabled pensions, Minister Derya Yanık said, “We are depositing the elderly and disabled pensions for January into accounts. I wish the payments will be beneficial to all our disabled and elderly citizens," he said.
Minister Derya Yanık said that services for disabled and elderly citizens are carried out within the framework of human-oriented and rights-based policies.
Stating that they develop inclusive and regular social assistance programs for disabled and elderly citizens, Minister Derya Yanık said, "We stand by our disabled and elderly people in every field from education to health, from economy to social life so that disabled and elderly citizens can live independently with their full and effective participation in social life."
