The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure will complete the Başakşehir-Kayaşehir metro line this year. 70 passengers per hour can be transported on the metro line.

Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital-Kayaşehir Metro line is approaching the end. The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure announced that the rail system, 95 percent of which has been completed, will be put into service for the public this year.

The Ministry was reminded that the project was handed over to the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) in 2019, but it was taken over by the ministry on the grounds that sufficient progress could not be made. It was emphasized that this line is one of the priority projects.

The Ministry of Transport has completed 5 percent of the work on the Başakşehir-Kayaşehir Metro line, which it took over from IMM with 95 percent progress. Thanks to the metro line, which is expected to be put into service this year, transportation to Çam Sakura Hospital will be easier.

The length of the 4-station rail system is 6,2 kilometers. 80 thousand passengers can be transported on the line at a speed of 70 kilometers per hour.
