On the same day, within the scope of the urban transformation project, the foundation of the social facilities, which will be offered to the people of the region, including a kindergarten, study center and library, will be laid. The building is expected to be completed in 2023.

Having completed the first and second phases of Uzundere Urban Transformation Area, the Metropolitan Municipality delivered 744 independent units, including 73 residences and 817 workplaces, to the beneficiaries. In the fourth stage, a contract was signed with the right holders and title deed transfers were made, and the preparations for drawing lots are continuing. When the project, which continues in stages in Uzundere, is completed, there will be a total of 3 thousand 800 units of residence, commercial, office and hotel complex. Within the scope of the project, the region will gain two social cultural centers and open market areas, approximately 67 thousand square meters of recreation and green areas, and 81 thousand square meters of road and parking lot.

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality is renewing the infrastructure of the region in stages. Natural gas, electricity, stream improvement, storm water, sewage, drinking water, landscaping and road application projects were prepared and approvals were obtained from the relevant institutions. The Metropolitan Municipality, which makes the necessary productions for natural gas, has also completed the upper stream branch improvement, storm water, sewerage and drinking water lines in the first stage.
