Turkey and Russia to Collaborate on Space Studies

While the Turkish Space Agency and TUBITAK Space delegation, which went to Russia at the invitation of Roscosmos, made a series of visits for the space studies carried out in Russia, it was announced by the Turkish Space Agency that discussions were held with Roscosmos on developing cooperation in the field of Space and potential future collaborations.

TUA President Serdar Hüseyin Yıldırım and the accompanying delegation had the opportunity to examine the MIR Space Station module and the space module, which was built exactly in a giant pool to simulate the working conditions of the cosmonauts outside the module.

In the meetings held, both delegations; The two countries agreed to cooperate in the fields of manned space exploration, use of space technology, scientific research in space, planetary research, space tracking, satellite navigation, telecommunications and communications.
