Sakarya SGK Bridge Interchange project, which was brought to the city by the Metropolitan Municipality, was opened. Speaking at the opening, President Yüce said, “We have solved the traffic problem in the region, we have enabled our drivers to save fuel and time. The project that connects our 3 districts to each other is good for our city”. AK Party Deputy Chairman Kurtulmuş said, “No matter what field you look at, Turkey is taking important and strong steps. I hope Sakarya will be one of the most important cities in the march of our country."
Sakarya SGK Köprülü Junction, implemented by Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality, was opened with a ceremony. The project, which has a very important place for the transportation future of the city, connects the districts of Adapazarı, Erenler and Serdivan. With the Sakarya SGK Köprülü Junction with a width of 22 meters and a span of 33 meters, transportation in the region is provided uninterruptedly.

At the opening of the project, which was completed with an investment of 40 million and brought comfort to the city, Governor Çetin Oktay Kaldirim, AK Party Deputy Chairman Prof. Dr. Numan Kurtulmuş, Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem Yüce, AK Party Provincial Chairman Yunus Tever, AK Party Yalova Deputy Ahmet Büyükgümüş, AK Party Sakarya Deputies Çiğdem Erdoğan Atabek, Recep Uncuoğlu, SAU Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Savaşan, SUBU Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Saribiyik, district mayors, NGO representatives, heads of chambers, headmen, bureaucrats, citizens and guests.
We have solved the vehicle traffic in the region
Wishing the Sakarya SGK Köprülü Junction project to be beneficial and thanking everyone who participated in the opening, President Ekrem Yüce started his speech by saying, “To solve the traffic problem in the region with SGK Köprülü Junction; In order to save fuel and time, we implemented an interchange project that will connect our three central districts at the entrance of our city. We have also completed all the requirements within the scope of the project, which is 22 meters wide and 33 meters wide. In addition, we are creating an alternative route to the Emergency Hospital, which is currently under construction. With the new alternative route we will make as a double, our fellow citizens will be able to reach the hospital easily.”
We are creating a model city in agriculture
Expressing that their understanding of work is aimed at raising the living standards of citizens, Chairman Yüce said, “We are trying to implement our projects and works in accordance with this principle. Another principle of ours was to work towards increasing the income level of our fellow citizens. In order to provide a suitable environment for the production of agricultural products with high added value, we carry out studies and trial plantings in order to provide suitable soil conditions for products such as salep and saffron, especially medicinal and aromatic plants. In addition, we continue our efforts to spread the Contract Production Model, which is new in our country, in our city. Again, we are developing projects to increase women's employment with 6 different Women's Cooperatives that we have implemented within our Metropolitan Municipality.
We implemented 100 of 72 projects
Expressing that they have implemented 100 of the 72 projects they have planned since the day they took office, Chairman Yüce said, “Work continues in our 28 projects. In addition to routine municipal services, we have carried out long-term projects that will add vision to our city and that we can achieve the best performance in the short term. We have paved 2 million 810 thousand tons of asphalt, which corresponds to 1 kilometers, in a period of 132 and a half years. On the other hand, we have implemented projects such as Sakarya Botanic Valley, Greenhouse Excellence Center and Burnt Sapling Production Center in order to benefit our city and our citizens for many years. I wish the work we do and the projects we carry out will be beneficial for our city.”
The best example of AK Party municipality
AK Party Deputy Çiğdem Erdoğan Atabek wished the Sakarya SGK Köprülü Junction project to be beneficial and said, “We are happy to be opening a very important project on behalf of our city. This is exactly how the AK Party municipality is. Thankfully, our chest rises in every service. We never forgot the promises we made to our citizens, we thought about how much we could contribute to our projects for our city. We see how the CHP municipality fell into class in Istanbul. At the end of the day, we were deeply saddened when we saw that our citizens were suffering. There was also snowfall in our city, but we successfully completed the process here. Our university students launched a mobile communication satellite into space. No matter which field you look at, Turkey is taking important and strong steps. It is a leading city in industry, agriculture, tourism and many other fields. We have no choice but to work harder than to produce more.
