Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality HAVASAK transported 2021 thousand passengers safely to the airport with its expanded vehicle fleet and staff in 72. With its free shuttle service and comfortable travel within the city, the project has won the satisfaction of air passengers in Sakarya. HAVASAK aims to carry 2022 thousand passengers in 125.

Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality has implemented different projects that will ease transportation in the city. HAVASAK has been the solution to the transportation problems experienced by passengers who want to travel abroad or abroad in Sakarya. The service, which transports passengers to the terminal and from there to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport with free shuttle service, has attracted great interest in the 2 years it has been operating.

Became the most preferred in 2021

HAVASAK, which provides service with a total of 13 personnel, including 20 sales booths, 1 drivers and 34 attendant, and 9 vehicles, under the management of the metropolitan subsidiary BELPAŞ, became the most preferred transportation vehicle in 2021. The number of passengers, which was 2020 thousand in 53, reached 2021 thousand in 72. HAVASAK had a year in which it served thousands of passengers, despite the lack of flights due to the pandemic.

The target for 2022 is 125 thousand passengers

In the statement made by BELPAŞ, “We are launching projects that will make life easier in order to eliminate transportation problems in Sakarya and to provide our citizens with the most comfortable transportation in the city and on intercity roads. The interest in HAVASAK, which has satisfied the longing for years and provided great convenience to the passengers, has shown how accurate our work is. Providing service to 2021 thousand passengers in 72 despite the pandemic conditions, HAVASAK will continue to carry passengers by strengthening its vehicle fleet and team in 2022.
