At the January meeting of the Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Council, it was decided to extend the free transportation support for healthcare workers until 30 June. With the decision, health workers will be able to get on the public transportation vehicles belonging to Manisa Metropolitan Municipality and MANULAŞ free of charge.
The January Ordinary Meeting of Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Council was held under the chairmanship of Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Cengiz Ergün. At the meeting, where 64 articles were discussed and decided, the article regarding the extension of free transportation support to health workers until 30 June was also discussed. Making a statement on the subject, Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Cengiz Ergün said, “We have been providing free public transportation services to our healthcare workers since the day the Covid-19 epidemic broke out. At our meeting today, we are extending this service until 30 June 2022 with your contributions. May God bless all our healthcare workers on this occasion. We are giving all the support we can for them and we will continue to do so. With the decision we will take, our public transportation vehicles belonging to our Metropolitan Municipality and MANULAŞ will provide free service to our healthcare workers until the specified date. After the speech, the proposal was accepted unanimously.
