The running and cycling will start in front of the Clock Tower at 21.30 and follow Mustafa Kemal Sahil Boulevard and finish in İzmir Marina after 6,5 kilometers.

Hakan Orhunbilge, Head of Youth and Sports Services Department of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, said that the running culture in Izmir continues to get stronger and said, “While we are growing and developing organizations such as Marathonİzmir and the International September 9 Half Marathon in every aspect, on the other hand, this keeps the running culture and the excitement of doing sports alive. We contribute to the sportive identity of İzmir with fun and entertaining races. İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Club President Ersan Odaman stated that İzmir is on the way to become a full sports city thanks to international and national organizations and said, "Our goal is to make İzmir a sports city with full participation every week with a national organization and every month with an international organization." he said.
