Technology Training from the Metropolitan to the Headmen of the Capital City

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, which continues its social responsibility projects without slowing down, started to provide technology trainings to the headmen of the capital city. With the pilot project initiated by the Department of Headmen and the Department of Women and Family Services, free computer courses will be given to the headmen of Polatlı two days a week for two months. In the trainings, Muhtar Ankara and Başkent Mobile applications and the use of social media will be explained practically and theoretically.

In order to enable the headmen to communicate more quickly and effectively with the citizens, the Department of Headmen and the Department of Women and Family Services pressed the button for technology trainings for the headmen.

While the pilot project was started at the Polatlı Family Life Center, the neighborhood headmen showed great interest in the free computer course.

PRACTICAL COURSE FROM MUHTAR ANKARA TO BAŞKENT MOBILE FROM COMPUTER TO SOCIAL MEDIA USE

In line with the demands of the headmen in Polatlı, computer trainings initiated at the Polatlı Family Life Center are given by expert trainers.

In computer courses that will last for two months and will be held two days a week; Many technological applications, from the basic use of the computer to the use of social media, from Muhtar Ankara to the Başkent Mobil application, are shown to the muhtars practically and theoretically.

"WE ARE PLANNING TO TEACH ALL OF OUR MAYTARS WITH A COMPUTER"

Emphasizing that the headmen of the capital city want to increase the service quality, Önder Yanmaz, Head of the Head of Head Office, stated that they are planning to open new courses in line with the demand and gave the following information:

“We organized a computer course in line with the demands of our headmen in the rural neighborhoods of Polatlı. In this project, which we carry out jointly with the Department of Women and Family Services, we will teach our mukhtars basic information such as the practices of our municipality, Word and Power Point. We think that it will be beneficial in terms of solving the problems of the neighborhood in their own business. Our Muhtar Ankara and Başkent Mobile application will also be taught to our mukhtars by our teachers. If we are successful in the project we started in Polatlı, we plan to expand our project to Family Life Centers in all districts and to teach computers to all of our mukhtars. Many of our 420 headmen in Ankara know how to use computers, but we aim to teach computers and technology to our headmen in rural neighborhoods such as Polatlı, Nallıhan and Beypazarı. We will also give a certificate of participation to our mukhtars who complete our courses.”

Stating that the headmen receive one-to-one training in the courses organized by considering the pandemic conditions, Polatlı AYM Computer Trainer Burak Doğru said, "We will show our headmen the basic use of computers, social media usage, office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point). We will explain applications such as how to write a petition in Word, how to send an e-mail, how to check it, and how to receive it if we do not have an e-mail address. Due to the pandemic, we will take our headmen in groups of 2. Headmen who want to participate in the training can come to the Family Life Center and apply.
