Ankara Metropolitan Municipality will provide feed support in order to encourage female animal producers in the capital and to contribute to production. 1 tons of corn silage will be distributed in the form of a 20 percent grant to female animal breeders with 100-500 cattle. Announcing on his social media accounts that application requests have been received in 25 districts, Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş said, “If we use our resources correctly, we can build a prosperous future. We distribute the corn silage we obtain from the vacant land belonging to our municipality, which we opened for production in Gölbaşı, to approximately 500 female livestock farmers. Our biggest project is to enrich the people of Ankara," he said.
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, with its 'women-friendly' practices, facilitates the lives of women in the Capital, on the one hand, and on the other hand, it provides economic support to local women producers, ensuring that they do not break away from production.
In this context, the Rural Services Department will provide "corn silage" support to approximately 500 female producers engaged in animal husbandry.
GOAL: TO ENROLL LOCAL WOMEN PRODUCERS IN THE CAPITAL
In order to contribute to the domestic economy by encouraging female animal producers living in the capital, approximately 500 tons of corn silage produced on the land of the Metropolitan Municipality in Gölbaşı Karaoğlan will be distributed to animal producer women in the form of a 100 percent grant.
Metropolitan Municipality Rural Services Department received applications for request collection in 1 districts to support corn silage used as animal feed to female breeders with 20 to 25 cattle. Expressing that they aim to increase the welfare level of Ankara residents through his social media accounts, Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş said, “If we use our resources correctly, we can build a prosperous future. We distribute the corn silage we obtain from the vacant land belonging to our municipality, which we opened for production in Gölbaşı, to approximately 500 female livestock farmers. ADDITIONAL TIME FOR MISSING THE APPLICATION
The Rural Services Department, which provides additional time for those who miss the corn silage applications to be distributed after the planning to be made in the 25 districts of the capital, will continue to receive requests for collection applications until Friday, December 31, 2021.
Haymana, Bala, Herokazan and Kızılcahamam districts, as well as the animal producer women who applied for corn silage, their family relatives, who they gave their power of attorney, thanked the Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş for the feed support with the following words:

-Habibe Gullu: “I have 15 animals. We are having trouble getting food. These feeds will contribute a lot to our budget and will relax. Thank you to those who contributed.”

-Ayşe Akgul: “I live on livestock. I benefit from all the support of the Metropolitan Municipality. I live alone. I have 2 cows and 2 calves. These baits made me smile.”
-Misli Gökben: “I earn my living by farming. It is a very important service for the Metropolitan Municipality to support female animal breeders. We are not housewives. We are manufacturers and women working in difficult conditions. I sent my children to school with the money I earned from animal husbandry. I was so happy to hear about this bait service. It is very difficult to get feed under the current conditions. It is a very nice contribution to the producers.”
