President of the Presidency of Defense Industries, İsmail Demir, reacted to the allegations that ASELSAN would be sold. Demir said, “We are really surprised. This is again part of disinformation.” used the phrases. In addition, Demir said, “ASELSAN is a company in which the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation has majority shares. It is a 25 percent publicly traded company. Major shares of our major defense industry companies ASELSAN, HAVELSAN and ROKETSAN belong to the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation. ASELSAN, TUSAŞ, HAVELSAN have partners and subsidiaries in various countries. Even the need to make this statement seemed a little strange to me. Of course, it should not be forgotten that; ASELSAN is a publicly traded company. Any speculation about the company will have very important and serious consequences.” said.
