Ay Yıldız (Joint Headquarters) Project Security Systems Workshop was held with the participation of the Ministry of National Defense Joint Projects Department personnel
The December 2021 issue of the newsletter, which is regularly published every month by ASELSAN and compiling the developments and news about ASELSAN, has been published. With the new bulletin published, it was announced that a Security Systems Workshop was held as part of the Ay Yıldız (Joint Headquarters) Project. Ay Yıldız Project Security Systems Workshop was held with the participation of the personnel of the Joint Projects Branch Directorate of the Ministry of National Defense.
The Ministry of National Defense, the General Staff, the Land, Air and Naval Forces Commands will gather in one place within the scope of the Crescent and Yıldız Project, where ASELSAN aims to make serious contributions with its national and original technologies. The campus, which will have a closed area of 890 thousand square meters and will be located on a total area of 12 million 620 thousand square meters, is one of the most critical and large projects of Turkey. The workshop, which started with the opening speech of Security Systems Program Director Tanju Karagöz, evaluated the work done so far on the creation of security scenarios and projects for the Ay Yıldız Campus, where ASELSAN was assigned by the Ministry of National Defense in 2018.
In the workshop where ASELSAN critical facility security concept was presented, ASELSAN Project Management and System Engineering methodology was explained. In the program where they were informed about the original security systems and their components, views were exchanged on the systems delivered by ASELSAN to ensure the safety and security of the construction site where the project was implemented.
