General Directorate of Security, Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Department (KOM) teams, against mafia-type organized crime organizations and criminal groups that supply these organizations with weapons; A simultaneous operation, codenamed TIRPAN, was launched in 27 provinces. The operation is carried out against 13 organized crime groups and 28 crime groups that supply these organizations with weapons.

Simultaneous Coastal Wind in 21 provinces covering the coastline and touristic provinces, where local and foreign tourists showed great interest before the tourism season, on May 8; On October 5, at the end of the tourism season, operations with the code name Sahil Rüzgarı-9 were carried out in 2 provinces against criminal groups that were involved in local and regional organized crime activities and were understood to be supplying weapons to these criminal organizations, and 357 targeted suspects were transacted.

Within the scope of the studies carried out in the ongoing process; against mafia-type organized crime groups that try to show themselves superior to the powers of the state by using the methods of pressure, force, threat and violence on people in the society, and the criminal groups that supply these organizations with weapons; The operation codenamed TIRPAN was launched.

Operation; In line with the instructions of the authorized Provincial Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices and under the coordination of the KOM Department;

Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Istanbul, Izmir, Bursa, Balikesir, Diyarbakir, Mersin, Mugla, Aydin, Adiyaman, Afyonkarahisar, Aksaray, Canakkale, Denizli, Düzce, Elazig, Gaziantep, Karabuk, Konya, Malatya, Mardin, Rize, Samsun, Establishing an organization to commit crimes in 27 provinces, including Şanlıurfa and Tekirdağ, 13 organized crime organizations that committed the crimes of looting, usury, and threats within the scope of the organization's activities, and 6136 crime groups that committed the crime of Opposition to the Law No. 28 by supplying weapons to these organizations, was carried out against a total of 389 suspects for whom detention and arrest warrants were issued.
