Considering that approximately 15 percent of the world's population and 13 percent of our country's population is made up of people with disabilities and limited mobility, the importance of using the right of transportation, which is one of our most basic needs, by our disabled citizens in the most convenient, economical and comfortable way is understood.
Serving millions of passengers every day on high-speed trains, main line and regional trains, as well as Marmaray and Başkentray, we are one of the institutions that serve the most disabled passengers in the transportation system as the General Directorate of TCDD Taşımacılık AŞ.
Within the scope of the "Barrier-Free Transportation for All" studies initiated under the leadership of our Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, we continue to carry out very good works to remove obstacles in railway transportation.
With the goal of "Barrier-Free Rail Transportation", we increase our service quality by taking into account the needs of all our trains, while arranging all our trains according to their needs so that the disabled and mobility-impaired citizens can travel in the best way possible.
With the “Orange Table” application, we do not leave disabled and mobility-restricted citizens alone from the beginning to the end of the trip, and we always support them with our teams at the stations and stations.
Again, in addition to the membership system provided to disabled passengers, we ensure that they get their tickets in a short time, with disabled toll booths and our sign language trained staff at these toll booths and call center.
As the General Directorate of TCDD Taşımacılık AŞ, which has the highest number of disabled employment and passengers, we continue to work to achieve our goal of "Barrier-Free Transportation for Everyone".
