IETT drivers, who protect the motorcycle drivers who survived the danger on the bridge in the southeastern storm that hit Istanbul, with their buses, will be given a plaque and award by IMM.
According to the news of Özlem Güvemli from SÖZCÜ;“During the southeastern storm that took lives in Istanbul, the images of two metrobus drivers on the 15 July Martyrs Bridge to protect their vehicles and motorcycle drivers from the strong wind attracted great interest in the social media. It was learned that the heroes of the event were Osman Yurtseven and Adem Çalışkan. During the storm that was effective throughout the day, it was seen that many IETT drivers helped motorcycle drivers during the bridge crossing in this way.
ALL DRIVERS WILL BE AWARDED
It has been learned that IMM has started a study to identify all IETT drivers who exhibited exemplary behavior during the storm and that each of them will be awarded with a plaque in accordance with the legislation in the coming days.
