Employees expect a higher minimum wage than employers. While 37,3 percent of the employees participating in the survey wanted the minimum wage to be between 3 thousand 750 and 4 thousand liras, 13 percent stated that it should be between 4 thousand and 4 thousand 500 liras.

The average figure in the survey shared by Minister Bilgin was 3 thousand 924 liras.

Minimum Wage Statement from the President

Making a statement about the minimum wage expected by millions of employees, President Erdoğan said, "We will protect our workers from inflation."
