The new high-speed train, which started operating between the city of Ganzhou in the eastern Chinese province of Jiangxi and the southern metropolis of the country, Shenzhen, made its maiden voyage on December 10.

The first high-speed train, which started to run between Ganzhou and Shenzhen, can reach a speed of 350 kilometers per hour. In this way, the travel time on the 434-kilometer road, which used to take 5 hours before, has been reduced to 49 minutes.

This new high-speed train line, which has 13 stations, is on China's main vertical transport axis in the north-south direction and connects with the Beijing-Hong Kong line. On the other hand, when the said line was put into operation, the former revolution base Ganzhou and the Shenzhen special economic zone were also connected.
