EGO General Directorate announced that they will put into effect the right of free public transportation to health workers, which was put into effect on 22 March 2020 by the Presidency and extended until 30 June 2022 due to the coronavirus epidemic.
In a written statement made by the EGO General Directorate, "Our healthcare professionals, who are working with their devoted efforts within the scope of the fight against the coronavirus, (Covid-19) epidemic, will be removed from public transportation vehicles of the EGO General Directorate as of 22 March 2020, with the instruction of our President Mr. Mahsur Yavaş, within the framework of the decision published by the Presidency. (Bus, Metro and ANKARAY) were free of charge. In this context, taking into account the new decision taken by the Presidency on December 28, 2012, health workers will continue to benefit from the public transportation service provided by our Municipality free of charge until June 30, 2022.
In order for healthcare professionals to benefit from the public transportation vehicles of our General Directorate, they must declare their personnel ID card approved by their institutions and with a photograph.
