Protection Group of Companies, one of Turkey's leading chemical companies, is expanding its support for children under protection. The Araci family, which opened their family home in Kocaeli to children under protection, became one of the biggest contractors of Kalben Children's Village. Speaking at the new year event they organized with the Kalben Association, V. İbrahim Araci, Chairman of the Board of Protection Companies Group, said, "We support the young people who will play a role in our future investments under all circumstances."
Producing in every condition of the country and investing in the future, the Protection Group of Companies develops its cooperation with the Young People Raised under Protection and the Protector Family Association (KALBEN). Explaining his ties with the Kalben Association, V. İbrahim Araci, Chairman of the Board of Protection Companies Group, said, “All children have equal rights, they deserve equal attention and support. Our biggest investment is our heartfelt support for our children. We will share the most special moments with our children. We allocated our family home, in which I grew up, to the Kalben Association. Children under protection are now growing up in the house where the most precious memories of our family are lived.”
WHAT DOES KALBEN ASSOCIATION DO?
Kalben Association provides training in 2 different houses and dormitories in 8 pilot regions, Istanbul and Kocaeli. The Kalben Association, which has so far placed 300 children in foster homes, has provided more than 86 hours of education to children. The Kalben Association, which was established with the aim of spreading the foster family model in the society and ensuring the solidarity of the young people raised under protection, provides psycho-social and legal support to those who want to benefit from the foster family model and to the young people who grow up under protection.
THE SEEDS OF THE “KALBEN CHILD VILLAGE” HAVE BEEN GROWED
“What did you do this summer? Where are you from?" Kalben Association Founding President Pelin Çalışkanoğlu Ekşi stated that it is difficult and severe psychological impact to be answered by children in need of protection, “We rolled up our sleeves to offer stories to our children and build a village where they will belong, in order to prevent the fractures in their souls. . We sowed the seeds of the 'Kalben Children's Village'. Our village will consist of 4 separate buildings, including 7 children's homes, a cafeteria, a library and an indoor activity area. The Protection Group of Companies, which donated 2 children's houses to our project, was positioned as one of the biggest contractors in the realization of our project. I would like to express my gratitude to our colleagues who contributed to all their efforts in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Protection Group of Companies, Mr. V. İbrahim Araci. We held the last event of 2021 with the new year party we organized for our children in Kocaeli. We will accelerate our projects in 2022 so that our children will enter many years of joy, peace and health.”
CHILDREN WILL WELCOME THE NEW YEAR WITH JOY
Aiming to complete the year 2021 by leaving a happy memory for children, the cooperation of the Protection Group of Companies and the Heart Association organized a New Year's event for over 25 children under protection on Saturday, December 40 at Kocaeli Congress Center. Children having fun in the inflatable playground played games accompanied by animators. The happiness on the faces of the children who went to lunch after Ottoman paste, cotton candy and corn was worth seeing. After the New Year's cake was cut, various gifts were presented to the children and it was reminded that the event will be repeated at the end of 2022.
OUR MISSION IS LEAVING CHILDREN WITH A BRIGHT FUTURE
Pointing out that they will produce brand new projects for children in the new year, V.
