Bringing a new breath to the UAV industry with its Coşkunöz Holding investment, Turkey's innovative UAV manufacturer UAVERA has sold UAVs for training purposes to Türk Hava Kurumu Teknik A.Ş. The state-of-the-art Çağatay VTOL Training Unmanned Aerial Vehicle entered the technical inventory of the Turkish Aeronautical Association with the ceremony.

UAVERA, an investment of Coşkunöz Holding, one of the national prides of Turkey, is achieving significant sales successes with its state-of-the-art unmanned aerial vehicles. Çağatay VTOL İHA, which was previously used in the inventory of the General Directorate of Security and the Turkish Air Force, has also entered the inventory of the Turkish Aeronautical Association Technical (THK Teknik). In line with the contract signed between UAVERA and THK Teknik, 1 Çağatay Unmanned Aerial Vehicle was delivered to THK Teknik with the certificate ceremony. Within the scope of the contract, there is also a simulation system for the UAV.

UAVERA Aviation Systems A.Ş. General Manager Ünver ŞAHİN, THK Teknik Aircraft Maintenance Inc. General Manager Cemal BALIKÇI, pilot candidates to receive the UAV2 certificate and officials of both companies attended. The attendees of the ceremony also had the opportunity to watch the Çağatay UAV in the air with the flight show.

Great Support from UAVERA to Aviation

Speaking about the cooperation, UAVERA General Manager Ünver Şahin said that they are happy for their contribution to the aviation industry. Şahin said, “The delivered Çağatay VTOL Training UAV will be used in the UAV2 flight training of the candidates who want to obtain the SHGM UAV2 pilot certificate within THK Teknik. In addition to the development and production of UAVERA, UAVERA will continue to provide all kinds of support to meet the need for UAV2 pilots of our country.”

Çağatay VTOL Training Unmanned Aerial Vehicle

Setting out with the goal of developing uniquely designed UAV and Flight Control Systems, UAVERA's Çağatay VTOL Training Unmanned Aerial Vehicle stands out with its distinctive features in its own lane. UAVs, which can take off vertically without the need for a runway, and are equipped with original and adaptive software and controllers, can operate fully autonomously in harsh weather conditions. CGTEGTVTOL is the leader in its class with a minimum stay in the air of up to 4 hours and a communication range of up to 50 kilometers. A 3-person team consisting of a pilot candidate and two technicians can receive training at the same time. The unique simulation system developed by UAVERA provides pilot candidates the opportunity to experience real situations.

Çağatay UAV's Place in Inventories Will Grow

In addition to 1 UAV delivered under the contract, new Çağatay VTOL UAVs are expected to enter the THK Teknik inventory in 2022 and the two institutions are planning joint trainings. In the coming period, UAVERA aims to cooperate in the fields of providing cargo services with UAV and developing platforms for this purpose.
