Battery Command Control Center Delivery to Land Forces

Acceptance test of the first Battery Command and Control Centers (BKKM) developed for the Land Forces Command within the scope of the 2017 mm Air Defense System Modernization (HSSM) and Particle Ammunition Supply (PMT) Project signed between the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) and ASELSAN in 35. activities were carried out. The systems whose tests were completed were handed over to the user associations.

The Battery Command and Control Center, which has a critical place in the layered air defense architecture, can manage at least three Fire Management Device (AIC) sets from a single hand, and can communicate with two-way data communication with the Air Defense Early Warning and Command and Control System (HERİKKS) command control elements. It is an air defense command and control element capable of data and voice communication with medium-range radars. The Battery Command and Control Center will be able to operate autonomously and manage the air defense operations of the weapon systems attached to it, if it is not connected to the upper command control element.

The system will make an additional contribution to the air defense command control capability of the Land Forces Command by creating a layer between the Fire Management Device teams and the Air Defense Early Warning and Command Control Systems, and with its autonomous operation capability.
