Kayaş-Sincan suburban system (Başkentray), operated by TCDD Taşımacılık AŞ, will be extended until 23.00 in order to meet the increasing demand.
TCDD Taşımacılık AŞ General Manager Hasan Pezük stated that the passenger demand increased in Marmaray and Başkentray, which gave a breath of fresh air to urban transportation, and said, “We are constantly monitoring Marmaray in Istanbul and we activate instantaneous additional flights when necessary. We have withdrawn the last flight of Başkentray, which operates in Ankara, from 12 to 21.45 as of 23.00 December.” he said.
Underlining that Başkentray, which provides service at 26 stops from Kayaş to Sincan and contributes to Ankara's business life and cultural tourism with its central stops, constitutes the main backbone of urban transportation with its proximity to YHTs, metro and bus stops, Pezük said that as of 6 a.m. He noted that Başkentray flights, which started at 21.45, ended for a while, and that they will provide uninterrupted transportation to the people of Ankara for a longer period of time with the updated new flight planning.

Integration with the existing rail systems within the city of Ankara is provided by Başkentray. Batıkent metro station, Yenişehir Station, Keçiören metro station in Ankara Station, ANKARAY and Maltepe and Kurtuluş stations were connected. Başkentray has 4 between Ankara and Kayaş, 5 between Behiçbey and Sincan, and 6 between Ankara and Behiçbey.
