ASELSAN Continues to Deliver Air Defense System

Within the scope of the serial production contract signed between the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) and ASELSAN in 2017, the deliveries of the Fire Management Device (AIC) and Modernized Towed Artillery (MÇT) systems for the Land Forces Command and Air Force Command continue without slowing down. In this context, acceptance tests of seven AICs and 14 MÇT systems were completed in 2021. After the completion of the tests carried out with the participation of the acceptance committee formed by the Presidency of Defense Industries and the Land Forces Command, the systems were delivered to the user associations.

During the acceptance tests, AIC and MÇT systems proved their capabilities again with field and factory acceptance tests, with and without firing. The training simulator, which was developed to ensure that the user training of the AIC system is carried out in the most efficient way, was delivered to the Land Forces Command in 2021. AIC Team provides a low-altitude air defense solution based on the most up-to-date technology for the effective implementation of air defense of critical facilities and fixed military units. The AIC system can take over the control of up to three MÇTs at the same time, as well as a HİSAR-A Missile Launch System (FFS). The typical AIC kit consists of a Fire Management Device (AIC), two 35 mm Modernized Towed Guns and a Low Altitude Air Defense Missile Launch System (HİSAR-A FFS). HİSAR-A Missile Launch Systems (FFS), which was put into use by the Land Forces Command in 2021, also successfully functions within the AIC Team in order to ensure the most effective air defense of our country.
