President of the Turkish Presidency of Defense Industry Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir announced that some tests of the Armored Amphibious Assault Vehicle ZAHA, produced by FNNS, have been completed.

President Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir shared on his official social media account, “The Armored Amphibious Assault Vehicle ZAHA, which instills trust in friends and fear in the enemy, is getting ready to fulfill the tasks that will be given to it. Mine and ballistic tests have been completed. It continues its Reliability and Maintainability Test with land and sea driving.” made statements.

In order to meet the amphibious armored vehicle needs of the Turkish Naval Forces Command, the Armored Amphibious Assault Vehicle (ZAHA) is being developed within the scope of the project, whose procurement activities are carried out by the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB). Engineering development activities were completed in the project, where FNSS will deliver a total of 23 vehicles, 2 of which are personnel carriers, 2 of which are command and control vehicles and 27 of which are rescue vehicles, and the qualification phase has begun. The project, which is planned to complete the qualification tests and deliver the first product in 2021, will be completed in 2022.
