The “En Tracking System” has started in İzmir, which will enable instant monitoring of all taxis and a healthy data flow. Pointing out that the system was first implemented in İzmir in Turkey, Mayor Soyer said, “Our taxi drivers have set the bar to such a high level that… Turkey's most successful taxi driver is in İzmir. We say this with our chests open. As Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, we are always with you.”

The "En Tracking System", which will enable 3 taxis to be controlled from a single screen, has started in İzmir. Tunç Soyer, İzmir Union of Tradesmen and Craftsmen Union President Zekeriya Mutlu, İzmir Drivers and Automobile Craftsmen's Chamber President Celil Anık, Mobilbil CEO Ahmet Dönmezoğlu, International Public Transport Association (UITP) Membership, Marketing and Services Senior Director Kaan Yıldızgöz, İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Deputy Mustafa Özuslu, Secretary General of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Dr. Buğra Gökçe, İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary General Eser Atak, Yıldız Devran, Barış Karcı, ESHOT General Manager Erhan Bey, taxi owners, council members and bureaucrats attended.

Soyer: "Good luck to you all"

İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, who stated that they are happy to bring the En Tracking System to the city, Tunç Soyer“It is a very exciting and proud day. Our mission is to present a vision, pave the way for you, and produce solutions that will improve your life. But you are the one walking that path. What excites me and makes me proud; that you have captured that vision, carried it forward and decided something together hand in hand. It is because you have established Turkey's most successful, most modern, reliable and customer-friendly taxi company by following the presidents. What makes cities brands is their people and institutions rather than monuments. I am proud of my taxi driver. Good luck to you! It was my privilege to say this… I am very happy to say that I am proud and proud of you. You have put forward a claim for Turkey. It's not easy, it's hard… It's hard to make a change, to give up one thing and do something else instead. It is especially difficult to do this as an institution, as an institution that greets thousands of people a day. You did it, good luck."

“We need to raise the bar higher”

Stating that the bar has risen with the application, Soyer said, “You have set the bar to such a level that Turkey's most successful taxi driver is in İzmir. We say this with our chests open. You are raising the bar. It's up to you to take it higher. As Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, we are with you. First of all, automatic payment systems… We have to do this, the world is going there. Electric vehicles are the future of the world. In 2030-2035, the European Union banned it. As of these dates, fossil fuel vehicles will not be produced. The early birds gets the Worm. We need to adapt to this already, we need to think about solutions," he said.

“Everybody is looking at Izmir”

President Tunç Soyer Zekeriya Mutlu, President of the Union of Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen of Izmir, describing the work they have carried out with him, said, “It is not an easy task, it is not an easy task to get an innovation accepted. The most important thing in the world is knowledge. It is important to use knowledge well. We made great efforts. We debuted today. We are number one in Turkey in transportation. Everyone is looking at Izmir. I live in this city, I feed. "I live in this city," he said.

We put our hands under the stone

Celil Anık, the President of Izmir Chamber of Drivers and Automakers, said, “Our tradesmen in Izmir also took the responsibility and we have come to this point. I would like to thank everyone who contributed, especially our Izmir Metropolitan Municipality. We cannot do this alone," he said.

“İzmir is the place where we work most efficiently”

Ahmet Dönmezoğlu, CEO of Mobilbil, said, “Izmir is the place where we have been working most efficiently for 25 years. Izmir's place is very different. Compliance, the stability and stability of the requested things allowed us to do what we were going to do in a short time.”

Tradesmen harmony with the metropolitan

Kaan Yıldızgöz, Membership, Marketing and Services Senior Director of the International Union of Public Transport (UITP), said, “We represent the transportation of 800 cities in the world. This project is of serious importance. There is a good cooperation between the tradesmen organization and the Metropolitan. We appreciate that,” he said. Alpay Kılıçkaya, General Coordinator of the Union of Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen of Izmir, also gave information about the system. Giving examples through numbers, Kılıçkaya said that the fairs made a great contribution to the city by giving an example from the Travel Turkey İzmir Tourism Fair held on December 2-4.

President's thanks to the pet-friendly driver

Also at the ceremony, Mayor Soyer thanked the taxi driver Mümin Aydın, who put a food box in his vehicle and fed the stray cats with the help of his customers, for his sensitivity to stray animals, and gave food as a gift.

What is Top Tracking System?

There are 2 thousand 823 taxis, 756 thousand 3 in the city center of Izmir and 579 in the surrounding districts. Thanks to the En Tracking system, the occupancy rate of the taxis across İzmir will be instantly visible. The data will show how the city's need for taxis has changed. It will enable the scientific measurement of the answer to the question 'Is there a need for new taxi plates in Izmir'. Since the system works integrated with the taximeter, the taxi activity in İzmir will be observed. The data will make a significant contribution to the regulation of traffic. It will shed light on the joint work between the municipality and the chamber on how the taxi network can be operated more efficiently. Citizen complaints will be examined with the En Tracking System.
