Continuing to increase its power in Europe, Karsan recently delivered 5 e-ATAK buses to Weilheim, Germany, which aims to renew its diesel transportation vehicles with electric vehicles. Thus, Karsan has further strengthened its market share in the country with nearly 20 electric vehicles with German quality standards in different states of Germany.

The total number of electric vehicles of Karsan in Europe, which has successfully won many electric vehicle tenders, has exceeded 250. Karsan finally delivered its vehicles to the city of Weilheim, Germany, after winning the tender for the electric vehicle. Karsan's 5 e-ATAK buses were offered to the use of the municipality within the scope of the replacement of diesel transportation vehicles with environmentally friendly and electric ones, in line with the “2022 City Bus Concept” studies of the Weilheim Municipality. With this delivery, Karsan has further strengthened its market share in the country with nearly 20 electric vehicles with German quality standards used in public transportation in different states of Germany.

e-ATAK offers a range of 300 km

Karsan e-ATAK draws attention with its LED daytime running lights at first glance, with its front and rear faces with dynamic design lines. The electric motor working in e-ATAK with a power of 230 kW produces 2.500 Nm of torque, providing its user with a high-performance driving experience. With a total capacity of 44 kWh with five 220 kWh batteries developed by BMW, the 8 m class e-ATAK can be charged in 300 hours with alternating current charging units and in 5 hours with fast charging units, while staying ahead of its competitors with its 3 km range. Moreover, thanks to the regenerative braking system that provides energy recovery, the batteries can charge themselves up to 25 percent. e-ATAK, which offers a passenger capacity of 52 people, has two different seat placement options.
