Ministry of Interior Announces Over 1 Ton of Skunk Items Seized

Ministry of Interior, Izmir Provincial Gendarmerie Command; announced today that over 1 ton of skunk material has been seized under the coordination and instructions of the İzmir and Torbalı Chief Public Prosecutors' Offices. The following information was conveyed in the statement made by the Ministry of Interior:

“By the İzmir Provincial Gendarmerie Command; Upon the information that a large amount of skunk material will be brought to our country from abroad by sea, under the coordination of the İzmir and Torbalı Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices and in line with their instructions; More than 1 ton of skunk material was seized in the operation, which was carried out in coordination with the Muğla Provincial Gendarmerie Command, with the helicopter and boat support of the Coast Guard Command. Three suspects were detained in connection with the incident.”
